Western Balkans: History and Encounter in Styrian Schools
The aim is to raise awareness and concrete experiences among young people in Styria and South Eastern Europe (Western Balkans, Turkey, etc.) about Europe and European integration. Based on the Western Balkans strategy of the Styrian provincial government, the aim is to impart knowledge in history, politics, economics, culture and religion together with encounter programmes and a summer school, to strengthen relationships, to initiate cooperation and to change prejudices on all sides into interest and trust.
The aim of ADAM is to strengthen neighbourly relations and future cooperation between Styria and the countries of South Eastern Europe (SEE) and their respective regions (e.g. Vojvodina) through concrete programmes and encounter formats.
